In March 2006 as I first saw "Seaspray" (in the middle). This is in Neustadt (in Holstein) Germany

Even out of the water she looks good, (unless you don't like the swim ladder hanging off the stern).

Not really prepared for winter.

In May 2006 I saw her again -- this time in the water at the Ancora Marina, Neustadt.

Cabin entry without the spray hood.

So I bought Seaspray and am getting her cleaned up, organized and put together.

Ok, she needs a little work. This is really only on the surface - both in how hard this will be to fix and where the real problems are.

Another problem here: see it? It isn't deep either but I still don't have the answer.

Finally under sail.

This is the "Hansa Park" an amusement park between Neustadt and Travemünde.

No one here to take my picture, so I had to take it myself.

The little bump on the horizon (to the right) is a really tall hotel in Travemünde. That's where I'm going but I won't be staying in the hotel.

Obligatory sun shot as the wind fades.

Here I'm arriving in Travemünde.

... and arrived at the Marina Baltica.

This is what Ancora Marina looks like from the Air. The aerial picture comes from www.stadtplandienst.de, is © GeoContent GmbH and is here only for private use.

This is a rough idea of where I sailed, shown on this page. The map comes from MapQuest, is the property of MapQuest and is here only for private use.

... and this is a rough idea of the trip right through Berlin to the Dahme Jacht Club (or Dahme Yacht Club). The red lines are where I was sailing, blue where I was under motor.
